After reading the good opinions on 3M 5200 sealant, I decided to use that product to seal the exterior seams on my Grumman aluminum 18', center console boat.

I was checking to see how many ounces the large tubes contained, when I noticed there was the standard curing and the fast curing type. Both had the same final results.

Any opinions on which would best suit my application? I anticipate the air tempature to be about 85 degrees, when I do the sealing.

I will be sealing the interior of the boat bottom with either "Glov-It", or a type of spray/roll-on bed liner, before installing the new floor and foam.

 ...Bob in Calif...
