Question for Sea Rider, or anyone that knows?

Hey Sea Rider, I am trying to put my factory fuel filter system back together for my M18C2 and was wondering, it is the bowl type system with the screen at the top, of course you have the in and the out, which are denoted by arrows on the top of the housing, I believe there is a one way check valve on the out side, but I should be able to blow air to the in side of the housing and get air from the out side, Right? Or am I thinking something incorrectly?

No check valve on those filters, should be able to blow air from both sides, unless screen is near clogged.
