i found this service bulletin that is for the gasket kit that i have for my oem volovo penta Manifolds and gaskets that i am putting on my 4.3 gxi 2004

you posted this procedure which is what it says with th gaskets that i bought but i found this after and its dated after your post so has it changed? what would you do at this point ?

Change to Procedure:
Before installing a riser gasket, coat the mating surfaces of both the manifold and the riser with a copper-based, heat- resistant gasket compound.
Examples:
Permatex Copper Spray-a-Gasket? (80697) K&W Copper Coat? (401612)
Aerosol or brush-on applications are both acceptable.

do you sugest the spray on stuff or stick to dry method?

or is there a bulletin after this one?

Yes, it changed, it's already up in the Adults Only and DIY sticky under Volvo information. See item #7

Im installing new exhaust manifold and riser gaskets as well. Is there a bulletin for my engine as well or does this only apply to 93' and newer engines?
