I just installed a new trim gauge, didn't have one before and now I have it hooked up. It doesn't work the way i had in mind. It only registers from all the way down to maybe 5"up at full up. I wanted something so I would know where the prop was in shallow water. Is there something different to do that with, like tilt??? I want to know the position of the motor with a gauge.
