Question about switching between trolling motors Terrova/Ulterra

My 2020 Terrova has to go in for warranty repair, my father has an Ulterra that he is going to let me use while mine is in for service. Question is related to the Minn Kota GPS Puck, he has one on his boat and I have one on mine. Is there anything I need to do in order to get his to Ulterra to work with my Puck? If so, what? Hopefully that makes sense... Thank you all!

I would think you will have to pair the unit to the puck and recalibrate the unit. Same volt motors?

Yes both 24V

Should work if it will mount into the same mount you have. Plug in and see if will pair with your puck if it does you should be good to go.

Yep so I actually ordered a new plug receptacle for my dad's boat and we both have the same mount. The hope is we can swap motors depending on if one is out of service.
