Question About Removing Tilt N Trim From 84 50hp Johnson!!!!!

I Have A 1984 Johnson 50 That Had The Add On T-n- T , The Unit Was Bad So I Have Removed It . The ? Is What Parts Do I Need To Add To Lock The Motor In Place On The Trim Pin (in Rev The Motor Will Kick Up) Any Help Would Be Great Thankx...................dave

If you go to the BRP parts catalog site, navigate to your motor, look at the midsection diagram, and scroll down the parts list, you will find the series of necessary parts wherever the words "models without power tilt and trim" are found. http://epc.brp.com/default.aspx?brands=ej&lang=e

I think that it would be much cheaper to find a used manual tilt midsection at one of the many salvage yards.
