I have a 180f/s nitro with a 1977 175hp evinrued running a 14.25x23p alum. prop. The boat runs at 5550 wot at 54mph on gps. Thats with 20gal of gas 2 batts. myself and the wife not alot of weight there. Im thinking of switching to a s/s 13.25x25p 4 blade. Would that put me more in the 4500-5500 range and what would that do to my top speed? The 4 blade has vent holes in it. Any input/advice would be helpful. Thankyou.

Re: Question about changing prop size

Ok thanks Bond-o. My other choice would be a 14.25x24p Raker. Would that be a better way to go??? Thanks.
