I have been looking at a 21ft Proline Center Console Boat. It has a extended platform sticking out from the transom. I was wondering if anyone would know would this motor handle this boat ok?

Thanks, Tim Myers

General rule freshwater boats = 20" shafts. 25" and 30" for Saltwater boats.

I will be using it at Smith Mt. Lake and Rappahanock River. It may be used in some sounds around.

Tim, you probably ought to edit your original post in this thread and remove your email address. For one thing the moderators will probably do it for you if you don't as there's something in the rules for this message board about not including email addresses. Another thing is that every spam bot in the world WILL harvest your email address if you put it in a public forum. And finally, any information offered should be posted publicly so that everyone can gain knowledge from the collective experience of those who have been there and done that.
