ok my boat is a regal 2760 express which is a 30 foot plus boat it has twin 4.3 Volvo pentas with single 4 blade props. i cant rember the pitch off hand but i think they are 17 if memory serves
i replaved the engine in this boat at the same time i put new intake manifolds on to increase horsepower and added quadrajet 4 bbl carbs to the boat all i have done is killed my holeshot i used to be able to plane the boat with 6 people on it with no problem now i can barely get it on plane with my wife and two small kids 5 and 6 -- 50 lbs each
ok no sound for some reason in video i basically want to know if the linkage hitting the spring is a big deal that it does not open entirely up i point at diff parts with my pinky through the video the carb looks like it is designed to open only that far anyhow as it has a stopper at the bottom that it hits about the same time as the linkage hits the spring let me know if anything else looks bad
thanks
Tracy

still want to verify the carb thing.
if the timing advance doesn't help im going to put old carbs back on with a adapter plate and see how it does please give input
thanks

second video about the hose barb in the front of the old Holley carb should i add one to the back of the Rochester carb it has a hose coming off the left valve cover when looking at the pulleys on the front i currently have that hose hooked to the spark arrester as well as the hose from the other side.
