Hello everyone.
I used iboats "prop selector" and a bunch of props came up and I selected a QL Marine prop and corresponding hub that the website advised I needed. The prop is for a 1986 Merc 470 with Alpha One outdrive. The instructions tell me to use the OEM thrust washer, so I do and now the prop just hits the trim tab. Do I need to use a different thrust washer for this set-up or was the iboats website incorrect in advising me that this prop would fit my drive? The back side of the new QL hub is pretty beefy so maybe I don't need a thrust washer, but again, the QL instructions tell me to use the OEM thrust washer and the thrust washer they show in their instructions looks just like the washer I have. In advance, any information would be greatly appreciated.
By the way, the prop is 14.5 x 19 pitch
