QD-15 10hp Johnson lower unit issue

Hello

I have a QD-15 10hp Johnson with a lower unit issue. The pins that hold the gears in place are broke. Someone tried to correct this problem by drilling another hole and put a pin in that but that one broke. I want to replace that housing and found one from a QD-14 10hp. Would that work in a QD-15?
