Hello Group

I just got my new to me

Model # QD-14
Serial # 145428


its been sitting for about 5 years ran good I was told and was ran dry when put away

Everything looks good I can pull the rope and the motor will turn over lots of spark

this motor is new to me I have a 40es that I can get to start after years of being outside

HELP ...

also was told there is a manual on the Johnson website but I have had no luck in finding it

the next question is I can pump up the tank and see fuel move through the system and I have read that there is a kit to rebuild the female conector for the fuel line .. would like help finding that .. as it leaks a little

QD-14 is a 1953 Johnson 10 hp.

Connect the tank to the motor and pump the primer on the tank until firm. Push the primer three to five times and pull the ropoe starter until it fires. Prime as necessary.

The female connector requires only new o-rings. Only the dealer o-rings appear to be the right size. PM me as I suggested in your other post for further info.
