QC....did you get to see the game of Rugby last night?.
Was it any more exciting in the ground than on the TV.?
I was hoping the POMS would put it to the Aussies so it would be a good game, Aussies winning of course.
2 nil to the Aussies in this series.

Cheers
Phillip

Hey Phil,

Yes I was there. It was carp. I haven't got a clue when it comes to Rugby, but I know that England's #14, a Mr. Tom Varndell, is the worst professional athlete I have ever seen. I know American football, and this guy bounced off offensive players and pretended he could run the ball by moving back and forth in front of the opposition just enough to show that he is class A1 carp. To sum it up, the entire affair was an embarrassment for England. I am still consoling my Pommy boss . . . Anything else? :D

Re: QC - Rugby Downunder

I didn't mention in my 1st post, I gave up watching and went to bed (early start Sunday morning) it was so pathetic. That team has been pathetic for many years, to the point they only perform well as an international side when they become The Lions team, which is England/Scotland/Wales/Ireland. Almost as though the Scots/Welsh/Irish are the ones that add the backbone and determination.
There is a brillaint photo of the English team, at the end of a game, all in a group, jumping for joy with hands stretched high etc, and the caption in big letters is "are we boring?"
Personally I enjoy a "good" game, and although I enjoy seeing the Aussies or Kiwis win, if they don't, then if the game was good, then thats OK.
Cheers
Phillip

I've got to agree with you QC, the game was carp.

What are the England selectors doing!! we have got stronger club teams.

I'm all for letting the younger players have a chance, but not against Australia and not every player on the field at the same time. I could only recognise 1 player on that England team.
