I have an older Shoreland'r PWC trailer I recently acquired. I just replaced two of the 4.80 by 8 tires it had. It hauls a 460lb jet ski.

The specs sticker has faded. Any idea what the tire psi should be on this thing? The tire side walls say they will hold 90psi max. Seems high to me...

I would run the max according to what it says on the sidewall. If you don't believe what it says, take it to a good tire shop. I don't have any tires of that size to compare.

I really wonder if you read the sidewall correctly. 90 PSI on that small a tire sounds awful high. 60 is more in line with what I've seen. The real danger is that the rim halves may blow apart at those pressures -- the result of which you don't want to experience.
