Hello I have a 2006 R240 Robalo CC. I have had an issue now for two years that when having the boat winterized I’m being told the head is full. This is after having Marina pump it out.

I decided to do it myself for the first time this year and noticed that when the pump started I got some removed but but not a lot. I then had someone step on the pedal of the vacuflush head and then the pump really empty the holding tank quickly....a lot more came out.

does anyone know if pumping out on some/my boat is a two person job? one person to operate the pump out the other person to step on the pedal to flush the head, which in sense is venting the holding tank? Or do I have an issue of a blocked vent, that is not allowing the boat to be pumped out correctly until the toilet is flushed creating another vent point.

thank you in advance for the help

I would say its the vent. Mine has always been one person

Check the charcoal canister in the vent line, or the vent for things like mud dobbers

Def not a 2 person job.Did you try a different pumpout station??? Perhaps a newer station with a newer pump or end nozzel.Prob not a vent but its easy to check.Charlie
