I have a 2017 yachtclub tandem axle pontoon trailer, but i am not too sure what type of hubs i have. I couldn't find any markings. It has a rubber cap and when i pry it off the hub is filled with grease and a grease zerk is in the middle. Do i just pump in new grease until new grease starts coming out? From googling some people say not to pump grease as i will blow out the seals

If you have to pry the rubber cover off, the axles probably have the second type.

If the dust cover looks like this;

Over greasing cam blow the seal.

Pump grease until only new grease comes out.

Even with the second type, you want to jack the wheel up and rotate the wheel, while pumping slowly.

Yes i have the second type(not bearing buddies). Also when i pulled the dust cap off i saw that from the trailer factory they used red grease. I currently have marine blue grease. Do you think it would be an issue mixing grease?

I have the perfect solution...............call YachtClub and ask them. They should have given you an owners manual when you bought it. If not, they can email you a PDF or a hard copy. Good company.
