I have force 86 125x4 i seem to be having problem with my pump bulb looseing pressure after i pump it up, i have replaced pump bulb, fuel pump repair kit, cleaned fuel pump, cleaned carbs and new needle&seats, question!!! Could the two valves be bad in the pump, and would this cause the bulb to lose pressure, 2nd question should the bulb stay hard when motor is running, and could this cause my motor to sneeze at first turn of key, it does this every time i try to start motor, very anoying!!!!! Thanks for help !!!!!!

Re: Pump bulb

The primer bulb is only under pressure when you first pump it up. Once the motor is running it has a vacuum in it from the pump sucking fuel up from the tank. So to answer your question, no it doesn't stay hard but it should not collapse.

Re: Pump bulb

sneezing is a lean condition, meaning not enough fuel for the amount of air going through the engine.

Usually caused by dirty or mis-adjusted carb mixture.

Try turning the mixture screws out (counter-clockwise) about 1/8 turn.

Can be caused by an air leak behind the carb. Make sure the carbs are mounted tight with good gaskets.

If its a true backfire, then timing issue.
