Pulls left

Finally got my little Avalon in the water and all went well but under full throttle it pulls pretty hard to the left. Is this normal or do I need to adjust something? She's a 1967 with a 1971 Mercury 800. I don't know how to get the pic in the post I just get thumbnails.

move back of trim tab above prop to the left.

The little fin behind the prop is a trim tab to adjust this. Move it in the direction of the pull (standing behind the boat). Just a little should do ya.
Move it a little and then try it, move more if nessary.
I have mine so it just tugs a bit to starboard, when its set exactly neutral the boat tends to wander a bit.

Fixed no more pulling, had a great time at Silverwood lake out by Hesperia.
