Pulling a tube??

I have a 15 foot aluminum boat with a 30hp 4 stroke Merc.
Would I be able to pull a kid on a tube with this?
The boat will run 25 mph with me and the wife.

I'm sure it will but it may take quite some time to get up to speed.
