Well I got around to pulling my drive off today. I have to say I was very surprised by what I found. I think the seals have gone on the drive but I'm not sure. I have attached a picture to help with a possible diagnosis.

It's also milky. Either your drive leaks or your bellows leaks. If the bellows is over 5 years old, I would be thinking about a replacement.
After you drain the drive and replace the leaking front seal, pressure and vacuum check the rest of the drive before you put gear lube back in.
Also, when you are replacing that input shaft seal, make sure the yoke is in good shape. They can develope a groove where the seal rides and causes it to leak, or it's rusty from water in the bellows and the rust acts like sand paper on the seal.

Yeah its a little milky. I was actually planning on replacing the bellows in the spring because it is starting to crack. I am pretty sure the bellows is well over 8 years old becuase the boat has been sitting unused for at least that long.

Now my next question is should I just replace the input shaft seal or should I just buy the seal kit and repalce them all?

Do you have the special tools necessary to replace ALL the seals?

Thanks for all the help! I have decided to bring the drive to a friend that works on boats. He told me that they will replace the seals and the impeller for me this winter. Next on my list is getting the trim to work, then replacing the starter and finally finishing the interior.
