Re: Pull!!!

Don't tell them where I live. I have a larger clay thrower than that one. It will probably toss them 50' at least w the right trajectory, I'll have to experiment alot to get it just right! squirrels are very persistant when they find something they want to eat and I'm sure some will fly off only to come right back and try again as soon as I reload.:D

Re: Pull!!!

I'm picturing being a neighbor at home and watching a squirrel sail past my kitchen window :D

Re: Pull!!!

I could probably launch 2 or 3 at once if they were friendly. My dogs would go nuts chasing the flying balls of fur!! They would need to hit the ground running.

Re: Pull!!!

LOL, serious... I was wondering what would look good on the 100' of fence I just built... Now I know... I could probabaly setup three or four. I wonder if I could achieve simultaneous launch. I seem to have a never ending supply of squirrels.

Re: Pull!!!

Best laugh I have had in weeks, J&G. :D

I ought to try that on the RATZAKRATZA squirrels that raid my bird feeders. Maybe my Browning Upland Special can nail them before they land.

Still laughing. Heeheeheeheee. :D

Re: Pull!!!

Now that's a beautiful thing!...I'm always at war with the darn squirrels, and that just might cure some of them persistent little buggers!
Squirrel launching!...Love it!!!:D

Re: Pull!!!

I've had great fun shooting them off the trees outfront w the hose as they mob my birdfeeders, I live on a dead end and the water pressure is good. W a pistol grip nozzle set to jet, I can knock them off a branch or the treetrunks from 25-30' and soak/chase them on the ground from 50+'!!. They do not like water sprayed on them at all!.......... I am going to modify my clay slinger and make a football style goalpost out of pvc pipe, and see what I can score! it would be too hard to score w a basketball backboard/net:D

Re: Pull!!!

It's all in fun. I enjoy and hunt all kinds of game including squirrels, but not in my yard where it IS legal. I enjoy observing all kinds of wildlife in the woods and at home also. The squirrels peeved me off when they climbed in my boat and chewed some wires and the vent cap off my plastic gastank cap in the bilge, twice!! Now I have limited their birdfeeder access for now.........and I intend to not attract so many to my property anymore. Mating season is quite a commotion around here w so many of the tree rats running rampant! I may have to resort to some peanutbuttered rattraps to thin their numbers eventually. That would be sadistic IMO, but very effective;)
