My motor came with a cord and handle but I have never tried to pull start it. Has anyone here ever ever had the opportunity to pull start one?

Re: Pull starting a Honda 90

Had to twice - when I had a dead battery. Considering how long the cord is [read:short], i didn't think it was going to be easy the first time i tried. One pull! I kid you not. The second time it happened, it took two pulls - I forgot to put the choke on.<br />On previous posts, I have mentioned that sometimes I find this motor difficult to cold start. I think this is because I have an OMC control box and I hadn't found the right combo of choke and free accel. Didn't seem to be a problem when I pulled started it.

I had to do it 2 times last fall when my old battery did not want to do it's job on a cold fall morning. Both times the battery was to low to even turn the motor and one pull and she fired right up. If your not sure, pull the cover off and give it a shot what do you have to loose? :D

...those little screws holding the cover on. They appear to be the type that dont come off, but they do!
