After waking up early this morning I decided to cook up some very nutritious bacon. In the past my 8
Year son has refused my offer to at least try a piece of bacon but this morning he decided to give
It a shot, low and behold he loved it. I have a long road ahead of teaching him about the wonderful
world of bacon but I look forward to it, boy they grow up so fast.

Too fast! This year my 15 yr old son passed me in height. I guess I'm looking up to him from now on.

Enjoy it yetiman!

My son is now 21 but one of the most vivid memories I have is the last time I was able to pick him up.
Hopefully you're not there yet so make the most of it my friend, cos when you can't do that anymore........

No doubt they grow quick,,,,,,,,,or is it time flies the older you get?

It seems just like a few years ago I was pulling my son out of the pool for putting his water wings on his ankles :D........(Yeah he learned not to do that again). Now he is a life guard. He and I had our moments when he was a juvie, but I am proud of the little man now.

yetiman, My kids would try anything that dad would eat. I never forced them to try anything. Now they have an appitite for about anything. On the other hand, my one daughter has very picky eating habits and I mean picky. Nothing green or is a bean. All my grandsons now are picky eaters. However when they are with me, they do try the things I eat. The oldest 2 admit that they have lost out years of eating things that they like now because they followed their moms habits. I have found kids do what their parents do.

Wait till they get to teens they never stop eating.

I think our dogs are afraid to hold still around our kids.

My 2 neices couldn't be more opposite in their eating habits. The older of the 2 is avery picky eater. If it has more than a dash of pepper it is too hot and spicy. The younger will eat almost anything. Stuffed olives, chili you name it. The only thing tht both won't eat is fish. too bad cause there's nothing like fresh north atlantic cod.
