just bought my first boat was sitting for a couple of years motor was kept in the garage is very clean what should i do about the prop its in very good shape no nicks what about maintance dont know what to do should i just take it out on the water i dont want to have any problems and get stranded its a 1974 9.9 evinrude

It would be a good idea to pull the prop and grease the prop shaft. This will help you get it off in the future. This should be done every year. If the props in good shape there is nothing more to do.
