Proper prop nut torque for an Alpha 1

Hello all i just purchessed a new prop for my Alpha 1 5.0L stern drive. I don't have a manual and wanted to know what the proper troque spec would be for the prop nut?

My Calibrated Elbow says about 50ft.lbs.......<br /><br />As long as it's Good,+ Snug....... And the Locks are bent over,.. You'll be Fine........<br /><br />Forward Thrust pushes the Prop On To the Shaft........<br /><br />The Prop Nut is only Working in Reverse.........<br /><br />Make SURE You Grease everything up Real Good........ It'll come off Easier,.. Later.......

Ya can't just buy em, they have to be calibrated with years of practice.

Mine's all worn out... ony gets to about 45 lb ft these days...
