proper prop and engine redline for 1990 120hp johnson

i am new to boating and my boat does not have a tach or prop installed my boat is a 1985 bayliner capri 19ft bowrider. my motor is a 1990johnson 120hp V4 i have installed a 13X19 3 blade alum. prop but do not know what my engine should turn at full throttle.<br />also what prop should i use for higher speed or for pulling skiers null

I would say invest in a tach, as everything you really need to properly prop that boat will sits in that simple little gauge. As a guess you should be running in the 5000-5500 rpm range. The 19 is a decent size for skiers, maybe even a 17.... A 21 should be a decent speed prop. Again the tach should almost be considered a must. ;)
