Proper idle rpms

Hello again, in the past this forum has saved me alot of time and money Thank You!!! I have just a quick question. I have a 1981 volvo penta 260a with a 270 drive what is the proper idle rpm for that motor in gear and out of gear?

Ayuh,... I'd think 650/ 750 rpms,... Donno exactly that model...
