Re: Propeller

Hi, Farmor.

Two blades are more efficient and faster. Three blades will handle heavier loads.

Good luck. :)

Re: Propeller

JB,

I have been reading to much lately. Just read about props, apparantly the lower the number of blades the higher the vibration (single blade being ideal but would vibrate off the boat).

Less blades more efficient, more vibration.
More blades less efficient, less vibration.

Ref. Seloc shop manual (B736) pg 17.

Trying to learn as much theory of operation as I can.

Safe boating to all.

Cheers.

emp.

Re: Propeller

It is for a sailboat 6.5 meter.
I thougt 3blade whould make the boat go faster and stop beller but maybe i am wrong.

One more question isn't it better with a large propeller for a sailboat.
