Hello out there!

Can anybody help me out? Just purchased a new propeller for my engine. It's a 1986? Suzuki Super-6.

I called several dealers to ask their service personnel what the proper torque spec is on the nut for the propeller?

They all said, "good and tight"

I'm not sure I saw that setting on my torque wrench......Can anybody help me out with?

What is Suzuki's recommended torque spec for the propeller nut??????

Thanks in advance - jlipper@ptd.net

Good and tight is halfway between not enough and too much ft-lbs :D I don't think its terribly crucial as long as the nut is snug and the lock ring is on good and bent over.
