Propeller Guards , Ya or Na ???

After smashing my prop to bits yesterday Im seriously considering a prop guard . Any of you using them ? Like em ? Hate em ? Which model(s) are you using ? Just like your experiences on performance after the install . Im not going high speed , just doing a lot of river running and its LOW LOW LOW right now , 2 feet of water in some spots .
