I have a 89' 150 Evinrude on a 89' Stratos Fish & Ski, I'm running a Raker 14 1/2 x 22 three blade prop. My problem is I need a power prop with more pulling power to aid in pulling skiers up on plan with out loosing to much top end speed. What prop size do I need? Thanks for any help.

Re: prop

You're asking alot here, you know that don't you......
Are you running on a jackplate? If you are, and want a good SS 4-bld, I think a Turbo 2+2TH in a 20P would allow good top-end with much better hole-shot, but It's going to be hard to keep the same top-end when going to a puller prop.

Re: prop

No I'm not running on a jackplate, but I do have a Sting Ray on the motor. I know that I will loose some top end speed to gain power, and willing to do so. I don't want to loose no more than I have to. Thanks

Re: prop

So a SS prop that is a 14.25 x 20 4 blade will give me the power for pulling that I need?

Re: prop

It would be close to a 21P in 3-bld but has much better technology than most, and being 4-blade, the hole-shot will be better without loosing alot off the top-end.
