prop slippage

I have a 2001 Yamaha 150, model # VX150. After 2500 rpm the motor keeps reving but the prop seems to be slipping. My first guess is the I have spun the rub in the prop. Does any body have any other sugestions I would like to check all options.

hey knotty thoghts,<br /><br />yea it sounds like your prop is slipping this is due to hitting too many underwater objects. you should replace it or replace the prop
