I'm going to assume that you have an outboard since you didn't tell us.<br /><br />You need to get the prop to a prop shop and get it rehubbed. This is not something that you can do yourself.

SL, I dont think he's talking about the hub slipping. I think he's talking about the percentage of slip on a given set up.

Reducing slippage is a procees you work thru that involves the relationship between any given prop design and motor height or X dimension, trim angle, set back, balance, hull design (including fins of any design) and intended use. Reduced slip equates to better efficiency.<br /><br />Sometimes the answer is a new prop. Sometimes the answer is "tweaking" the set up. In most cases changing the prop is the last resort. We try to optimize the set up first.
