That IS the Size.......

Don't Worry about the Diameter.....
The Style of the blades will determine it anyway....
The Prop Engineers have that All Figured Out for you....... ;)

Hey,
Thanks for the response. I'm trying to find a replacement on ebay, so I dont know what diameter to get. Any idea where I can find that out other than measuring the prop.

Thanks,

James

Re: Prop size?

To help you decide on possible offers, that may not be clear in size or part #, here's a little something to look at:

Your prop is 14"x19"
Your motor shares prop with Mercury/Mariner 135hp, 150hp, 150XRi & Magnum, 175 2.5 litre & XRi & Magnum, 200 2.5 XRi & EFi.

Those have the 4 3/4" gearcase.

You have a wide range of aluminum or stainless to chose from - 3, 4 or 5 blades. Even special designs (provided your setup allows).

As Bondo say, when you pick your pitch the dia is a given thing. The 11" pitch is 16" dia and the 27" pitch is 13 3/4 dia. The other pitches (starting at 13") are within this dia. range - most are 13 1/4 - 13 3/4.

...also always ask how many splines/grooves. Some have 13, 15, and more...especially if you are buying off Ebay. Most folks selling used props know very little about them.

Got it. For some reason I thought that you could choose the diameter too.

Thanks,

James

Re: Prop size?

Your prop is a Mercury product---they have cross reference charts if you want to be sure about the fit. Web sites for Ballistic and several other prop vendors also have cross reference charts to tell you what their product fits. You should be able to find your numbers exactly if you search one or more of these websites.
