prop size help

i have a 22 foot pontoon with two toons and a 1973 65 4 cly two stroke it has a 14 x 11p mercury prop i don,t know if it is the wright one or not it seems to go ok i took the rpms up to around 5200 and backed off seems a little high but i dont relay know this is my frist pontoon am i in the ball park thanks

The operating range for the motor is 4800 to 5300 RPM's so the prop is fine as long as your happy with it. Toons are not built to be speed demons as some think. The 65 hp should be just fine pushing a 22' toon as long as you don't overload the front. You could try a 13 3/4 X 14 pitch and still be good with the RPM. JMO
