just changed my gear seal on the prop shaft 97 force. but it is in reverse how do i get it to go into nutral so the throttel and the gears are in sink? Help please!
That is a mercury designed lower unit. There is a detent so you simply need to grab the shift shaft and twist to the neutral position before installing the lower unit. be certain the control handle is also in neutral.
