Re: prop shaft

Sorry. You gotta take it off and you'll need a puller and shim gauge along with the manual.

Good luck!

Re: prop shaft

Hi DRS
I rechecked that number it is correct. I should have told you my books arn't current. Sometimes these part #s are superseded. A good parts person should have no problem with them. Sorry to hear of your trouble. I am currently repairing a bent prop shaft on a motor I picked up a few weeks ago. I figure about $400. in parts. This will include having the prop repaired. If you repair your unit at least you'll know what you have. If you buy a junker it might be good then it might not.

DRS,
Ken Cook Publications probably has the owner's , shop and parts manual for that engine. The neat thing about the parts manual is it has all the exploded views of everthing.
Your browser should be able to find Ken Cook's web sight. If not, lemme know.

c/6

hooty
