Can someone give me a little bit of info on props. i hear people talk about pitch when it comes to props. exactly what is that referring to. also i gather the more blades on your prop the fast out of the hole, but slower over all top speed is this correct. <br /><br />right now i have a 5 blade prop on my 17 foot starcraft. the previous owner had just put it on and said that it made him out of the hole faster, and faster on plane. the boat has the 3.0 mercruiser 180 hp.
