Ive asked a few questions in past regarding a prop change and now i found a used one that is like new, my original prob. was my 89 Checkmate Spectra 200 with a GT200 has engine mounted high and the decavitation plate is about 3.5" above lowest part of hull which makes trimming down on all corners and not using the bow seats when cruising or it will cavitate, right now I am using a 14.25 x 22 Raker which was repaired and not a good job as far as I can tell, before I bought boat. I found a used but like new Shooter 4 blade 13.5 x 23, can someone tell me how it will compare, less dia. more pitch, 1 more blade surface, i could run about 5500 rpm with 2 people in boat, will this 4 blade give boat less cavitation, otherwise i am going to have to buy jackplate, manual CMC is about same price, prop is easier to put on, don't have to worry if cables will work, thanks all
