prop question

Hello,

I have a Crownline 250 cr (7,4) I can't seem to get the right RPM. I can get 4100 on a good day. My prop now is a stainless 15.5 diameter with a 17 pitch. Do I go to a 4 blade 15 pitch? It seem everyone else is running 19-21 pitch. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything before I spend the money.

One of the moderators is probably going to move this to the prop forum, but here goes. Figure on +/-200 RPMs per inch of pitch you change, but if I were getting low RPMs with a lower pitched prop I may be looking at the fuel/ignition system before I went out and bought a new prop.
