i have a 1996 stingray 556 (18ft with a 3.0l mercruiser / alph1 gen2) and i was considering changing my prop. i was wondering if i should change pitch or size for better performance or fuel economy. i would appreciate any ideas from the members or pehaps the type of props you have experience with on similar vessels. also pros and cons of stainless over aluminum. which is better.
