can i get prop pitch w/o the #'s on the prop. without taking the prop off

Sometimes prop numbers are under the prop nut.
There is an involved procedure here somewhere to figure prop pitch.
But you would have to remove the prop. I can be a little thick so it was all confusion to me.I'd rather drive 50 miles to a prop shop than try to figure it out.If you can give us your boat/motor info and your present max rpm and speed we may be able to at least tell if your performance seems normal for the setup.

If there is no # stamped on the prop then you need to take it to a shop and have it gauged. Its the only sure way. The formula that was on here has been removed for further study.
