Prop Nut Torque Spec??

I just purchased a 81 bass tracker with a 40hp merc, the prop had some damage so I took it off to have it fixed, I got the prop back today and was wondering when I re-install it, what I should torque the prop nut to?? I don’t think it was very tight when I took it off. Also, is there anything else I should do besides grease the propeller shaft before I put it back on??? <br />Thanks <br /> Brian

I checked my manual it states 60 - 70 ft.lb torgue. However you may have to back off a mite to place the cotter thru the crown nut.
