Are you supposed to really tighten the prop nut down hard to try to attain the next hole for the cotter pin to align with, or tighten and then back off to previous hole as you would a wheel bearing? I''ve been trying a few different props, and seem to get more vibration noises at idle in gear than I did before, even with my original prop back on it. And I've been torqueing the nut down as tight as it would go.

Hand tight and then a little more. Don't over do it.
