Prop is on a 1996 Johnson special 88hp. 13 3/8 X 17. The Number on the hub opposite the size is 389948. Anybody have any info?

That number has changed a few times and ends up as a Viper prop. Obviously it's a 17 pitch, what info do you need?

Is it a good prop? I was also curious as to what make. Realized it was an OMC number.

They're OK, should be a decent match on your boat if the rpm gets you where you need to be.

Did you see my thread on raising the motor? I will test later in the week. Had a window this afternoon but didn't go. I should have.
