Prop hub kit brand interchangeability

I'm looking at different prop hub kits on eBay. I will probably buy a Solas prop but I can get a Turning Point adapter hub kit cheaper (with shipping) than I can a Solas kit. Assuming the Solas and Turning Point kits are for the same engine/gearcase, can either be used on any brand of prop or are the hub kits brand specific?


It seems to me the hub kits should be universal, otherwise it would kind of defeat the purpose of having them.

A bit off subject, but I like the Turning Point Hustler props a lot more than Solas.

good ?, interesting...if dia of props (where hubs go) is same, probably r..........not so sure Id want to test that theory and have to go thru hassle of returning it if does not... Michigan Match w hub here....don't know how many have tired what you r suggesting....
