prop help for a 81 chrysler 115

[81 charger]

i need help finding a prop for my boat. seems most of the sites i have tried dont sell anything that old. can someone please tell me where to look? or help me find a way to cross refrence it for another prop that may fit.

Small diameter (4 inch) mercury props will fit as will most Force props. Open hub thru-hub exhaust props will work and there is NO performance loss.

Vortex props will fit but you need to remove the engine anode. My experience has been that Vortex will load the engine more thanother brands in the same pitch so you may need to drop 2 pitches ie.19 to 17 for equal RPM. Personally, I don't care for Vortex props.

Keep looking on the auctions. Closed hub props for your engine come up for sale often.

You can even run solid hub 15 spline racing props like the bronze one in the photo.
