Welcome to IBoats,

What's the min-max wot rpm range factory stated for said motor to start with, will know how much prop pitch need to drop for the motor to rev up towards middle or max wot rpm range whichever that range might be. Do you plan boating lightly, medium light or heavily loaded ?

Stored in the water, lift or drydock? Boat new to you? Engine been inspected? It should spin that prop easily......

5800-6400 wot rpm are the tech specs for a in-line 4, 16 valve DOHC motor, if it's the same motor powering your toon at just 4200 wot rpm that motor is being extremely lugged which is no bueno. If the motor is 100% healthy and in top running condition that prop must be changed ASAP for less pitched props, how much less that's the question. Start by querying a Prop Selector...
