prop end play too sloppy?

Can anybody tell me how much end play (slop) the propeller on a Yamaha T9.9MX.. is suppose to have fore and aft, if any? I have 1/8 inch right now and that is with one washer plate behind the spacer in front of the propeller like the schematic shows. The nut behind the propeller has holes in it, and if I line them up for the cotter pin I get 1/8 inch prop slop. I'm unable to tighten the nut down tight enough to get the cotter pin on behind the nut which I doubt would be correct anyway.

you looki9ng at prop slop or actual propshft end play ?<br /> do you have the correct thrust washer installed before installing the prop ?

Whoops, I forgot to put on the reflector ring. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Sorrrrrrrrrry
