Hey all,

My wife killed my prop this weekend so looking for recommendations, and basically to tell me what to order. New owner here, so trying to keep some sort of budget.

1) Performance issue you are trying to correct - broken prop, wake board most times, general cruising with family sometimes.
2) Current prop manufacturer, model, aluminum or stainless as a minimum. - Aluminum
3) Current prop diameter and pitch (required). I'm not sure of this currently....
4) Wide open throttle RPM and speed with an average load (very helpful) - I generally keep it around 3500 RPM right now with our average load. My speedometer doesn't work great, but I think its around 35 mph...
5) Engine/drive make, model, year, and HP it says ... Mercruiser MCM 4.3 LX Gen+ 205 hp
6) Boat make model, year, length and weight 1997 18' Bayliner SS Capri 1851 weight is around 2100 if I remember right

Were you happy with the killed prop? If so just pull it and look on the hub for mfg #.

#4 was not answered correctly, so nobody can assist.

We need to know your absolute top speed, and the RPMs your engine is running at that top speed.

The fact that you cruise normally at 3500 does not matter in correct prop selection.

I also agree with previous post. Were you disappointed in your original prop? If yes, why? If no, buy another.
